The Story So Far

Everything seems to be going well, but at the end of the first cour, a battle breaks down between Demon Lord Carrion against Demon Lords Milim and Frey. That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2 Second Cour Release Date
The second cour was already set to be released in July. A final confirmation has been made, and Tensura Season 2 second cour release date has been announced. That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2 Second Cour will release on July 6, 2021. Mindaryn will perform the opening theme, ‘Like Flames”. The ending theme, “Reincarnate” will be performed by Takuma Terashima. Additionally, a new cast has been added to the series. Guy Crimson, a new character will be introduced. He will be voiced by the voice actor Akira Ishida.

Tensura Season 2 Second Cour Trailer
Shortly after the release date was announced, the first trailer of the second cour was released as well.
The first thing worth noticing in the trailer is its brilliant animation. 8bit seems to be going all out this season, especially after the positive feedback from fans all over the globe. The first highlight of the trailer is on “The Puppet Master Demon Lord”, obviously signifying Lord Clayman. Rimuru is going to settle the matter, and we might witness a great war of Demon Lords. He will be teaming up with Gazel Dwargo, the king of Dwargon, and Elalude Grimwald, the Archduke of the Sorcerer Dynasty. Clayman on the other hand, seems to have a plan of his own, where he talks about his awakening. What he means by the term is going to be one good mystery to unravel. Yet, he seems unhappy with some turn of events as well for reasons unknown. Milim on the other hand, is preparing for a war, which is quite an interesting turn because it contradicts her personality. Another highlight of the trailer was the event of Walpurgis. Walpurgis is a catastrophic event that is invoked through a banquet between the Demon Lords. This banquet is held for the declaration of war among them. Ramiris announces that Walpurgis has been invoked and Tempest is going to be destroyed. Many returning characters can be seen like Diablo and Veldora. Leon Cromwell makes an appearance too. But, the most exciting appearance is of a new character, Guy Crimson before the trailer ends.
